R&B, hip-hop, and soul: Welcome to his story.
At our last rehearsal before next Saturday’s big show at the CT Film Festival in Danbury, Pete and I kind of looked at each other and said, at the same time, “We’re really in this band.”
We are. The addition of special guest vocalist Jelani Maleeq, plus Josh DeBonis on tenor sax, has really filled out the sound. Come check out the new vibe next Saturday, June 6th, at the City Ale House in Danbury. We hit the stage at 11; Positive Mental Trip opens the evening.
Sometimes there really are silver linings. After being canceled from Bar on A, we’ve been picked up by the Connecticut Film Festival. We’ll be playing at their June 6th party at the City Ale House in Danbury from 11 til closing time. This is a huge opportunity–it’s our first show in that part of the state, and we’re hoping to make some new fans and new friends.

Sorry, everyone, but this is a bit of bad news. The June 6th show at Bar on A is going to be rescheduled because something else is happening at the bar that night that bumped us out.
