Black Bear Saloon

It was a little early for Halloween, but the promise of fabulous prizes for the winners of the costume contest made everyone go a little, err, batty. We took the stage around 9:30 and ripped through a short and energetic set that bounced like a teenager without his Ritalin. It definitely was a new experience to play for people who didn’t already know our music–when we play bar and club gigs, we pull in people who are familiar with the songs and with what we’re all about–but we definitely made some new fans (and friends) among the Bridgewater Securities folks at the party that night.

Gearing up for Halloween

Eerily, there’s been no response from our Fearless Leader about the matching costumes Pete and I just bought at the local Wal-Mart.  I don’t want to give away the surprise* in case any of the Bridgewater folks are reading this, but we’ll definitely post pictures after the gig on Thursday.

Speaking of the gig, it’s going to be a lot of fun.  It’s a private party with the entire Black Bear Saloon rented.  Not only will there be surprise costumery, but also a surprise cover.  No way am I giving a hint on that.

Meanwhile, the band keeps rolling along.  Be sure to click on the Contact/Booking link if you’d like us to come to your locale in the future.

*Hint:  I never figured out how to make five accurate Ghostbusters uniforms.
