The Terryl Lee Band

I know, I know, it’s summer, so you’re certainly not participating in Happy Hour or any such nonsense. This is a serious time of year. But if you’re looking for an academic discussion of the rising prices of energy futures and their implications for US foreign policy, may I suggest coming up to New Haven for the Terryl Lee Band’s one-year anniversary show at the Bottega Lounge?

There will be plenty of people with whom you can discuss oil supplies in Brazil and Nigeria, not to mention Iran’s recent test-firing of missiles. What will Nicolas Sarkozy say about all of this? Come Friday to find out…

T-shirts will be for sale at the Bottega Lounge recital next Friday. They are limited in number, but very handsome. If there’s a demand for them, we’ll definitely order more.

Also, we’re hoping to release a part-live, part-studio album in the not terribly distant future, so we’ll be recording the Bottega Lounge recital. Please come on out and be a part of it.

…’cause this is summertime.

For those of us in the band who don’t really work in the summer (umm, me), this is the best time of the year.  Time to play some gigs (hint, hint: we have one on July 18th in New Haven), do some recording, work on new arrangements and new songs.  Oh, and hit the beach, get into the woods, and live the slow life.

I can’t speak for the other guys, but I know I’m looking forward to our second summer together as a band.  We’ve got some big things on the horizon, so check this space often for updates.

Our show at Don Hill’s on June 27th has been canceled. We’ve rescheduled it for Friday, June 13th. We promise that no hockey mask-clad murderers will hassle you while we play.
